The name Akayi finds its meaning in the colour ‘red’. Rooted in the philosophy of “made with love,” Akayi by Anshika is a Delhi-based womenswear label inspired by heritage, craftsmanship, and self-expression.
Drawing from the rich cultural legacy of Punjab, Akayi reimagines traditions passed down through generations. Each outfit carries stories of festivity, emotion, and artistry, designed to be worn, remembered, and cherished.
Brand Philosophy

Each Akayi creation is an ode to Indian craftsmanship, where pure, luxurious fabrics meet meticulous hand embroidery. Traditional techniques like zardozi, cut dana, dabka, and intricate threadwork come together to weave stories that linger long after the garment is worn.

Though the designer has lived much of her life in Delhi, Anshika hails from Punjabi heritage, and this lineage reflects in every detail.
